Road Trip Warriors started as a joke during a first time road trip from New York to Colorado. It turned into a passion of exploring, capturing bangers (cool photos), being open to new experiences, and becoming sort of a gear junkie. We're here to inspire like-minded individuals to climb that mountain, take that daring road trip, and explore like you only live once.

About Climbing Mountains, Gear, and Road Trips

Adirondack Mountains

Being located in Upstate New York, most of our time is spent hiking in the Adirondack Mountains. These include the Adirondack High Peaks, Saranac 6er's, and Lake Placid 9er's among other smaller mountains in the area!

National Parks

National parks have some of the best scenery in the world from Glacier National Park to Grand Teton National Park. Taking road trips to these wonderful places, exploring them, and taking photographs is one of the best ways to spend time.

Gear

A Road Trip Warrior's best friend is their gear. These include snowshoes, crampons, microspikes, ice axes, trekking poles, and more. We try to put out our thoughts on gear and how well (or not well) it has worked for us.

See it for Yourself. Looking at photos and reading about beautiful places is not the same as seeing it in person.

Exploring Your Home State

Here at Road Trip Warriors we believe it is important to take advantage of the adventures you can have in your home state. For us, that is up in the Adirondack Mountains!

National Parks and Other Destinations

Road Trip Warriors is about road trips. Hitting national parks is the best part about getting out on the road. There is jaw-dropping scenery out there and we hope our content will provoke like-minded individuals to get out there!

Being Prepared for Anything

Going on a climb up a mountain or a road trip is fun, but it is best to be prepared! On our blog we provide posts on gear that we have found adequate for our activities. We hope that our insights can be helpful to others!
